What I’ve done that’s worked.

When my clients came to me, they all wanted one thing: presence. Brands that stand the test of time are grounded in authenticity and architected with showstopping visuals, messages that speak to the heart of the buyer’s desires, and make a promise that can be delivered. Work that works is rooted in superior brand thinking, not just clever design. It must be strategically articulated through intelligently crafted, integrated creative campaigns built from seamless concepts that are both believable and impossible to ignore. That’s what has earned my award-winning creative its reputation, and transformed the brands I’ve worked on in ways people can see, feel, experience, and remember for a very long time.

Marvella Ad Campaign:

When Century Communities came to us, they wanted one thing: a luxury new-home community that looked and felt like nothing else for miles. Architecturally inspired by the romance of the Mediterranean, and set on a precious, undulating parcel in Greenwood Village, Colorado, Marvella was a hidden treasure, and we built a brand that spoke to its exclusivity.  We named it, crafted its story, and positioned it as a place where only a very few special people would have the privilege to live a life that matched their level of exquisite taste. Marvella sold out less than a few months after the Sales Center opened.

Landmark: Ground Breaking Campaign

The client came to me with nothing more than a vision and a half-developed logo, and asked for my team to create the biggest explosion the Southeast Denver Corridor had ever seen to promote this luxury mixed-use high-rise residential development. And do it before the ground was even broken. Six months later, kicked off by a lottery-style buyer event, a nationally award-winning ad campaign, and some very delicious bagels, we sold 80% of the first tower in five hours. It didn’t hurt that we’d brought in Cirque Du Soleil for the Grand Opening Party the day before the lottery. People are still talking about that to this day.

Legend Partners

It wasn’t easy for Legend Partners to break out of their old brand, but they had to. New national players were entering the market in a big way. Instead of making them look like the competition, we built a new brand around their greatest strength: their good guy, smart guy persona.  The new brand told the market, and the entire country, that these were the people you wanted representing your retail real estate needs, and the ones you’d want to go fishing with after the deal was closed. They still occupy the top spot in best in class reputation to this day according to just about everyone.

Cadillac Ranch Steakhouse

Located in the historic Larimer Square in downtown Denver, Cadillac Ranch was the passion project of its owner/developer. He had  travelled the South along Route 66 on a Harley, because why not, and came home with a restaurant concept that would steal the hearts of Denver’s steak lovers in what many would consider an over-saturated market. Some thought he was crazy. We leveraged his crazy and made Cadillac Ranch the most delicious go-to destination for the next decade. Morton’s is still angry about it.

Grand Park

There’s mountain living. And then there’s the kind of mountain homes that speak to the authentic soul of the buyer. That’s Grand Park. Set in the magnificent grassland valley of Fraser, Colorado, where the mountains of the Continental Divide soars above, this semi-custom home community was designed to complement the landscape, not intrude on it. Elegant yet quintessentially mountain. Refined but rustic. By partnering with Crate and Barrel, we made the idea of buying a new family home feel effortless and possible. For every city-dwelling Coloradan, mountain living was finally within reach.

AWARE Community Service Campaign

I believe that with any great brand development, there also needs to be a deep and meaningful connection to the community that brand serves. So I paired the luxury high-rise community of the Landmark with the Alzheimer’s Women’s Auxiliary for Research and Education (AWARE), a powerful, women-driven organization whose mission is to raise funds, expand public education, and generate local attention for Alzheimer’s research, and to support families devastated by this disease. We raised nearly $275,000 of dollars for the charity in a single event, and gave the Landmark the heart and soul it deserved.
